 If you want to start Grocery story in Dubai mainland, here is the procedure.

  

 Activity Code    : 4711003

 Activity Group: Consumer Stores Group

 License Type   : Commercial

Activity Description: Includes commercial firms whose activities are based on the marketing of certain consumer products and goods, such as fresh, preserved and canned foodstuff, household utensils, and detergents.

Steps:

1. Business Location and Ejari

2. Store Drawing (Fit out)

3. Trade Name Reservation ( DED)

4. Select the UAE Local Sponsor (51% Local Sponsor 49% Remaining Partners)

5. Type the BRL Application and signed by Sponsor & Partners

6. Get the Initial Approvals

7. Get the External Approvals

8. Follow the Guidelines of Dubai Municipality (Food Control Department) and      get it approval

9. Follow the Guidelines and Rules of the Dep. of Economic Development (Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection Sector)

10. Typing the Memorandum of Association by the Legal Translator and get the Legal translation stamp on it. Go to the Dubai court with Sponsor and Partners and notarized the MOA.

11. All required documents submit to the DED, and pay the required payment. DED will issue the License.

After getting the License you can operate your Grocery and must follow the Terms and Condition of the Dep. of Economic Development (Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection Sector).
